Job Summary
The Spacecraft Structural Engineer will be responsible for aiding in delivery of spacecraft structures and products by performing structural analysis related to the architecture, environments and mission objectives laid out by various programs.
This position's internal job code is Structural Analysis Engineer . Our team is currently hiring for Level 2.
Job Responsibilities
Performs static and dynamic design and analysis tasks necessary to deliver high performance satellite systems.
Develops high fidelity models to predict both system responses and local environments within the system structure.
Performs spacecraft design, configuration, layout, and mass properties analysis.
Performs Modal Analyses to assess structural characteristics and capabilities of Satellite Systems.
Develops and exercises structural models in support of mechanical design performance predictions.
Identifies and procures materials, processes, and facilities support necessary to deliver a qualified spacecraft structure.
Manages structural qualification testing on spacecraft systems and components including test design, test conduct, data reduction, analysis, and reporting.
Develops and documents required design and analysis processes.
The Goal: To become an stress analyst with the ability to work under supervision and direction while learning different analysis methods and techniques to be a well rounded engineer
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors & 2 years experience or Bachelors & Masters with finite element analysis experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors & Masters with 2 years experience performing finite element analysis as core job function

Summary Pay-Range
Level 2: $81,600 - $120,000
