Job Summary
The Procurement Agent will work with Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Engineering, Program Controls, Program Management, Material Planning and Shipping/Receiving/Inventory teams to ensure that purchase orders are executed in an efficient manner and immediate procurement needs are met. We are looking for a candidate that:

Has the ability to prioritize demands of and work with many suppliers and internal customers
Has a world class approach to negotiating with suppliers to meet cost and delivery needs
Has procurement experience with mechanical and/or electronic parts and assemblies
Is proactive and ready to lend a hand even if it is not in your job description
Is enthusiastic about process improvement and finding solutions to bottlenecks and a go-getter that can thrive in any environment
Has solid judgement, reasoning and decision-making ability in the absence of predefined processes or procedures

Job Responsibilities

Own RFI, RFP, and RFQ’s in support of Millennium projects and lead supplier selection award decision

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in buying, and / or sourcing
Detailed EEE market knowledge gained through experience first-hand procurement negotiation knowledge
2+ years experience in sourcing electronics, printed circuit board assemblies (PCB/PCBA/CC-STK), various EEE components
Experience identifying, evaluating, and developing new suppliers
Superior written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities
Strong sense of urgency and the ability to perform and react to deadlines
Exhibit professionalism when dealing with suppliers and internal customers and being able to work in a team environment
Negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills with demonstrated results

Preferred Qualifications

Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with FAR/DFAR requirements
Aerospace experience
Proficiency using Microsoft Excel (pivot table, formulas, reports) and MRP systems

Please note that the exempt salary information shown below is a general guideline only of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay-Range

Level 3: $79,900 - $117,500
Level 4: $102,000 - $150,000
Level 5: $125,800 - $185,000
