Job Summary The DevSecOps Cyber Engineer is a key member of our technology team responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of our software products and systems throughout the development lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the DevOps process, identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, and driving continuous improvement in our cybersecurity posture. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of software development, cybersecurity, and DevOps expertise to build and maintain a robust DevSecOps pipeline.
This position's internal job code is App Security Lifecycle Spec. Our team is currently hiring for levels 2 & 3.
Responsibilities As a cyber engineer specializing in maintaining Millennium Space Systems Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) environment, you will work with many different teams within the Company to maintain and grow our cyber development environment. We are looking for the right candidate to help us grow our existing DevSecOps environment as an integral part of our corporate processes across the board.
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of experience in the same or similar position
5+ years of Linux experience
Experience with a customer-service provider environment
Automation skills in shell, bash, Python, and/or other languages
Experience with source code and version control tools such as Git
2+ years with continuous integration & development tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of GitLab and GitLab CI
Must be comfortable working with mission critical and sensitive systems, with a sense of urgency appropriate to the responsibilities
Existing US Government security clearance
2+ years of professional system administration and/or information assurance experience
Strong understanding of Docker
Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate with customers, peers, management etc. in both formal and informal situations.
Strong understanding of Ansible or similar "Infrastructure as Code" tools
Strong understanding of Kubernetes
Strong understanding of virtualization and hypervisor technologies
Strong understanding of AWS

Summary Pay-Range
Level 2: $45.77/hr - $67.31/hr
Level 3: $112,200 - $165,000
