Systems Engineering, Integration & Test Program Manager

Job Summary
As a SEIT Program Manager, you will be overseeing the integration of a mission enterprise typically spanning multiple segments (space, ground, launch) and other mission domains. Our Customers will rely on you to bridge the gap between their mission needs and an operational solution by organizing internal and external engineering interfaces and integrating system test activities to deliver a full, high-performance space mission rapidly and affordably.

Job Responsibilities
As SEIT Program Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for on-time, on-budget delivery of the SEIT program deliverables, maintaining an integrated system schedule, reporting on element schedule progress, system test plans, program level risks, procurement plans, subcontract management plans (when applicable), internal staffing plans, and budgets (staff, direct costs, subcontracts, travel, etc.) to achieve program success. Reporting regularly to the to the Customer and Millennium executive team, you will track all internal and external deliverables, oversee configuration and data management, and prepare and present formal and informal system design and progress reviews. Working closely with segment and/or element program managers and systems engineers across space, launch and ground segment contractors, the Program Manager will ensure that systems meet all requirements and achieve all milestones, while staying within strict budgetary constraints. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline   
  • 5-years’ experience as the contractor Project Manager on US Government programs delivering or managing high-complexity systems with multiple segments/elements
  • Outstanding teamwork and communications skills
  • Proven ability to deliver on-time, on-budget
  • Existing security clearance

​Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, or related field
  • Concept-to-flight experience with space missions
  • Experience with budget-constrained space programs
  • Demonstrate good spacecraft knowledge at the subsystem level
  • Experience with less traditional prime contractors
  • Experience with Department of Defense customers (e.g., USAF Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC)/Navy PEO Space Systems/U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command)
  • Familiarity with Government or commercial project management/aerospace acquisitions processes regulated by the DFAR and certified at DAWIA Level 3+
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
