Job Summary We are looking for an EGSE Software Developer to interface to one-of-a-kind payloads and satellites. You will work in a team working on specific LabView projects to interface with space-qualified payloads and will also help produce mission-unique electronic ground test equipment to test and space qualify our company products for flight.
Responsibilities and Duties
Using primarily LabVIEW, design, develop, integrate, and certify test system software and hardware for a variety of applications including: subsystem command and data handling, low level hardware control, automation, custom interfaces, and communication software for ground, airborne and/or space systems.
Work with our experienced LabVIEW developers to write software to support our flight software, spacecraft emulators, and ground test systems.
Work with our engineers on deciding what needs to be done and have autonomy in coming up with the appropriate solution. Your software will interface with test equipment, flight avionics, spacecraft sensors, and spacecraft actuators.
Participate in the following activities: requirements definition, analysis and decomposition, support system level architecture definition and software design.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with Computer Engineering electives.
User level experience with git and Linux is required.
Experience with LabVIEW or interest in learning.
Knowledge of digital signal processing and digital communications
Demonstrated evidence being self-driven to learn to include outside school engineering projects.
Demonstrated experience developing in the LabVIEW environment.
Experience integrating LabView DAQmx devices to interface with embedded systems
Experience with LabVIEWLabVIEW FPGA, LabVIEW Actor framework, LabVIEW object oriented, LabVIEW Real Time
Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD)
