Job Summary
As Millennium’s Director of IT Enterprise Applications, this role will develop the vision and strategy that aligns the company’s existing systems and future enterprise solutions under one cohesive IT architecture. In collaboration with the Director of IT Infrastructure and other cross-functional leaders and business stakeholders, this role will drive Millennium’s digital transformation to meet current and future business objectives and enable the seamless integration of future systems that will support Millennium’s growth goals.

The Director of IT Enterprise Applications will define their organization’s service delivery model and SLAs for internal application end users. They will lead and develop the team responsible for corporate cloud initiatives, designing systems processes, ensuring that compliance controls are in place. This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact on Millennium’s growth and to shape the company’s Enterprise Application development, implementation, and strategic planning. Responsibilities

  • Develop an enterprise-level applications architecture that connects and aligns the company’s homegrown systems and external applications, enabling greater efficiencies, productivity, reporting, and communication across the business
  • Create, refine, and drive the IT Enterprise Application roadmap – including defining project objectives, timelines, prioritization, and implementation plans – based on collaboration with cross-functional teams and the evolving needs of the business
  • Manage multiple vendors including completion of RFPs/RFIs where applicable, negotiating contracts, oversight of vendor fulfillment of contractual responsibilities, and monitoring Service Level Agreement performance
  • Serve as Millennium’s internal SME on enterprise software, leading the build-vs-buy decision making process and the vetting and selection process for 3rd party application purchases in conjunction with internal customers and stakeholders ensuring solutions meet the need of the business
  • Develop SOPs, procedures, and policies for all Enterprise Systems to ensure robust operations, education, training and control
  • Attract, build, and lead a world-class IT Enterprise applications organization; develop a team culture of innovation, collaboration, and ongoing improvement
  • Lead and support the development of enterprise application architecture, with an eye on improving the commonality of business processes through improvement methodologies using business systems and management processes
  • Implement best practices for software development, integration, and deployment to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure cost effective and timely delivery of high-quality IT Enterprise Application services and products
  • Maintain currency on new technologies and service management practices, and provide direction on what emerging applications and or technologies should be introduced.
  • Ensure digital architecture is in compliance with all cybersecurity requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10+ years of experience planning and leading enterprise-wide programs, service delivery and IT Enterprise Application infrastructure initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing high performing teams in a senior leadership role overseeing enterprise application development and implementation
  • Strong IT Enterprise Application operations acumen, including cross-domain knowledge
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Skilled change management leadership and communication
  • Experience with various applications such as SharePoint, ERP, ATS, HRIS, MES, LMS, Supply Chain Planning, reporting/data visualization, and Commercial systems
  • Experience working directly with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business priorities and needs into a cohesive IT Enterprise Application roadmap
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving digital transformation initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience successfully leading & executing hands-on implementation of an enterprise wide system, such as Manufacturo and/or Teamcenter
  • Experience working in both open and regulated/secure environment and how to architect system to operate across those boundaries
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

Summary Pay-Range

  • Level L: $161,500 - $237,500
