Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, security, and integrity of our SQL Server databases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain database solutions that support our business operations.
This position's internal job code is Software Engineer. Our team is currently hiring for levels 4-5.
Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator or similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL Server database management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Experience with database security and compliance standards.
Knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for SQL Server.
Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Power BI Reporting Services is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
Experience with cloud-based database solutions, especially Microsoft Azure SQL Database.
Familiarity with other database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.
Understanding of DevOps practices and tools related to database deployment and management.
Active CompTIA Security + Certification
Active TS/SCI
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Summary Pay-Range
Level 4: $130,900-$192,500
Level 5: $161,500-$237,500
