As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will be supporting the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) organization that is responsible for the integration of a mission enterprise spanning multiple segments (space, ground, launch) and other mission domains. You will be responsible for organizing internal and external engineering interfaces and integrating system test activities to deliver a full, high-performance space mission rapidly and affordably.
Identify, consolidate, and review system specification and interface requirement traceability to support sell-off verification and test events
Support system integration and test activities involving multiple levels of integration (systems and elements)
Assist in defining, capturing, and maintaining system and element level interfaces
Coordinate with customers and other contractors to execute verification analyses and tests
Research, analyze, and track various components of the overall segment, including spacecraft, payload, and ground systems to ensure cost, schedule, and performance
Develop and present technical briefings to senior-level customers and stakeholders to help facilitate system level decisions
Track internal and external deliverables
Create, review, and maintain system and test documentation
Assist in system level requirement development and flow down to element level requirements
Support system level test events
Travel to customer locations, test sites, and industry sites
Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, or related field
2-5 years of experience in systems engineering integration, testing, verification, and validation activities on high-complexity systems across multiple segments/elements
Outstanding teamwork and communications skills
Active DoD Secret clearance
Master's Degree in Engineering, or related field
Experience with Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) systems
Demonstrate good spacecraft knowledge at the subsystem level
Demonstrate good satellite ground system knowledge
Experience with Department of Defense customers (e.g., USAF Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC)/Navy PEO Space Systems/U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command)
Active TS/SCI security clearance
