Job Summary
The mid-level Subcontracts administrator will be responsible for managing supplier agreements and compliance related activities for the Subcontracts department. A successful candidate will have experience in subcontract management, procurement management, a working knowledge of the FAR/DFARS, as well as government audit experience. As part of the compliance activities, the successful candidate will implement and manage small business subcontracting plans for the department including identifying qualified and qualifiable high performing businesses to support individual contract requirements.
This position's internal job code is Contract Administration Specialist. Our team is currently hiring for level 3.
Responsibilities
Screening existing and prospective supplier candidates through a prequalification process, involving Supply Chain, and Engineering Integrated Product Teams (IPT) which includes technical and quality competency, along with financial information requirements.
Ensuring Requests for Proposals/Quotations and Information (RFP/RFQ/RFI) are issued to qualified suppliers.
Providing detailed explanations and positive suggestions to bidders not selected through the RFP/RFQ/RFI process.
Seeking additional supply base of diversified suppliers in support of the FAR small business goals and
Assessing and tracking compliance to the Millennium small business subcontracting goals.
Establishing subcontract efforts from beginning to end, including:
Managing small business subcontracting goals for Millennium
Ensure supplier compliance to company and program terms and conditions along with other trade compliance/legal requirements
Support the objectives of other teams such as: legal counsel, security, trade compliance, manufacturing, program office, engineering (REAs), program controls, supply chain, and quality assurance.
Manage controlled documents and configuration management
Create graphs and charts for both internal and external use

Minimum Qualifications
5+ years experience in subcontract administration or related work including legal experience
4-year college degree, or equivalent, in a business-related field
Active TS/SCI Clearance (preferred)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Moderate to advanced skills in other Microsoft Office services
Preferred Qualifications
Detail-oriented
Able to handle multiple tasks while prioritizing them
Strong written and spoken communication skills

Summary Pay-Range
Level 3: $83,300 - $122,500
