Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Simulation & Ground Software Engineer, you will design, develop, integrate, and test spacecraft flight software and dynamics simulation environments in support of flight software verification and test as well as mission design and development. You will design, develop, integrate, and test the ground systems used to develop, test, and fly spacecraft. You will work with many different technologies and platforms ranging from COTS/GOTS software to in-house systems. You will design high-reliability systems that meet customer requirements and deliver them in a timely manner. You will interface with the flight software team, the RF communications team, the systems engineering team, and the mission operations team to ensure that these systems appropriately meet the needs of their users.
