Program Controls Procurement Specialist

The Millennium Space Program Controls Procurement Specialist will work with Program Controls Specialists, Program Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure Program component orders are executed in an efficient manner and immediate needs are forecasted and against typical lead times.
Job duties include:

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Program Controls Purchase Request interface to Engineering
  • Manage ordered parts database with pricing estimates
  • Purchase request entry for complex orders
  • Apply purchasing policies, procedures and processes for consistency in ordering
  • TRACE receiving reports and inventory process support
  • Prepares procurement and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Schedule periodic reviews with senior management for the program managers and principal investigators
  • Creating graphs and charts reporting internally and externally
  • Support supply chain process improvement tasks such as supply chain scorecards, in-house supplier database, etc.
  • Managing controlled documents / part configuration management

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years related experience
  • Bachelors in an Accounting or Engineering discipline
  • Demonstrated advanced skills using Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in an Aerospace or similar technical environment
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
