Master Program Scheduler

You deliver on time and on budget. As a Program Master Scheduler at Millennium Space Systems, you are the person organizes internal engineering planning, works with external suppliers, manufacturing, and test activities to deliver high-performance space systems rapidly and affordably. You are accountable for delivering the must-work space systems to exacting Government and Commercial customers.

The Program Master Scheduler reports to our Vice President of Programs to assist program managers with on-time, on-budget delivery of their projects. You will maintain project schedules, status procurement plans, incorporate subcontract schedule plans, and project loaded staffing requirements. You will report regularly to Millennium Space Systems' executive team and our customers. The Program Master Scheduler work closely with members of each program team, product development, and program controllers to ensure our systems meet all requirements and achieve all milestones, while staying within strict budgetary constraints. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Accounting, Finance, Program Management or Program Planning & Scheduling
  • Minimum 3 years of scheduling experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment (preferably aerospace)
  • Demonstrated experience in using MS Office suite products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Project experience (or similar project scheduling software)
  • Ability to interface and influence at all levels of an organization and thrive in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated teamwork and written/oral communications skills
  • Existing security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Systems Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration or related field of study
  • Six (6) plus years of professional experience in Program Planning & Scheduling
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in an unsupervised environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in assisting small teams with planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver customer focused solutions
  • Concept-to-launch experience with one or more satellite missions
  • Experience with cost- and budget- constrained space programs
  • Experience with aerospace environments especially other than traditional, large prime contractors
  • Experience with Intelligence Community and Department of Defense customer communities and their project management practices
